GotchaBot is an AI-powered tool built to help users vet people, companies, and events for scams or red flags. What began as a personal solution to avoid online fraud became a fully functional public tool designed for speed, transparency, and usability. This project showcases my ability to plan, design, and launch a complete product experience, from UX flow to backend logic — all using a lean, low-code stack.
Check it OutToo many people fall for fake job listings, sketchy events, or misleading company claims. The question: How can I help people quickly identify misleading opportunities and events?
To meet this problem, I knew the solution needed to be:
Trustworthy – through transparency and accessible design
Fast – results should return within a few seconds
Lightweight – no signup, no training, just type and go
By leveraging strong UX principals and planning, engaging animations, and APIs, the solution:
-Feels as simple and quick
-Disambiguates multiple people with the same name
-Surfaces real evidence, not vague opinions
-Provides clear visual cues to help users interpret risk
-Runs on low-code tools, without a traditional server
Redesigning an early-stage startup's website, resulting in improved accessibility and readability, a clearer value proposition through copy, simpler consistent calls to action, a streamlined structure, a more professional user interface, and engaging animations.
